Being the only few from our class 3e5, 2006, that were asked to repeat secondary 3 was a big step back to the square. It was as though we were to draw lines from our friends because we'll be a different batch next year, 2007. Reality is ridiculous & the truth killed me a million times. I couldn't take it at that time. I put all the blame on other people & teachers. I despised the school system & I'm disgusted with the teachers. Every teachers that I saw in school that day, just built up my anger. I hated schooling at that point of time. Watching your friends graduating before you makes you feel inferior. Not to mention the burden from family problems. The word repeat or retain is a taboo word for me.

It was as if we were left in the prodigious rain & had to survive on our own. We were left out when our friends went back for their study sessions during holidays. The feeling was so overwhelming that I was pissed at myself for this grave mistake. Receiving the news was a great setback already, but it's not over yet. My parents were furious, I had to escape from this netherworld & torment. 5 days of tranquil & I'm back to my netherworld. Keeping everything to myself is my forte. The rain plunged into the solid ground is how I feel. It was my greatest downfall.

My tale of triumph ended just like that.

Considering my previous year's results & current year's results. I had made a big leap. From atrocious grades to a more remarkable grades.


Year 2006, 3e5.


Promotion status: Retained at S3 express.


My class position was 35 out of 39 & level position was 186 out of 194. L1R4 was 35 & L1R5 was 44. Total was 307 out of 700.

Comments:

Chin Siang is a polite and well-behaved pupil. He is not afraid to clarify when in doubts. However, Chin Siang is not meeting his expectations in his studies. He needs to dedicate more time and efforts.

Subject remarks: Mathematics.

Chin Siang is quiet and well-behaved in class. He demonstrates the willingness to help others who are less able. Chin Siang needs to put in the effort to come to school on time.


Year 2007, 3e1.


Promotion status: Promoted to S4 express.


My class position is 1 out of 35 & level position is 17 out of 233. L1R4 is 12 & L1R5 is 16. Total is 484 out of 700.

Comments:

Chin Siang has constantly pushed himself to obtain better results and is very self motivated to achieve his goals. He has been an excellent example as the class chairman and even volunteered to help coach his peers in their weaker subjects. He has also displayed a great attitude in aiming for the best in every endeavour and will definitely perform in his O levels next year if he continues to believe in his abilities.


I believed that I did not create any trouble this year & I'm happy that my cliques are going to graduate soon. Even though I'm unable to assist them in any ways, but I'm hoping that they will make it & graduate with flying colours.

I've disappointed some teachers & my parents & my graduating friends. But I guessed it's all right now. Teachers that I've disappointed will be Mrs Ramos, Miss Zaleha, Mrs Lau, Mrs Sharon Tan, Mr Tenn, Mr Tan.

Teachers that has been encouraging & motivating me all along. Mr Jae, Miss Fang, Mr Ang, Miss Zaleha, Mr Chaw, Miss Tan, Mr Tan, Mr Tenn, Mrs Lau, Mrs Sharon Tan, Mrs Ramos. I couldn't do this without your guidance & encouragement. Seriously, thank you! But I feel that I've not done well enough because this isn't my limit. I haven't done my best as yet. & I hope I can make you guys proud by doing well in O levels.

3e1, 2007. I felt that this class is quite a interesting class & the competition is intense. & I've made a large amount of friends. Some of me clicked with me instantly. Even though our class couldn't get full attendance almost everyday, but the class still felt the same. One more year & we're separated. But Numero Uno will always be 3e1. Sometimes, we have to learn how to be independent. & I think I've matured and know what's my priorities in my life.

My tale of triumph is back again. Because I strived, that’s why I scored. I've proved people wrong.
